Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area is sponsoring a Holiday Heritage Market at The Historic Pump House from 11 AM to 3 PM on November 20.
In its third year, this artisan market is a way for the national heritage area to spotlight and promote the diverse history of the Pittsburgh region. From ethnic artwork and crafts to traditional music and foods, there's sure to be something for everyone. Visitors can also take part in a "pick-a-prize" raffle featuring donated items from various vendors.
Proceeds from this event will go towards preservation of The Historic Pump Huse, which was the site of the 1892 Battle of Homestead.
The market is a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping, learn about The Historic Pump House and the culture of the Pittsburgh region, try new foods, and enjoy fun music! Hope to see you there!
